Listening to Music in the Afterlife

I’m literally writing this just after it happened. We’re out in Spain at the moment, and Tomson always loved our Spanish holidays.

I’d been browsing video editing software — the one I use is a bit pricey for what it is, so I was looking at alternatives. Andy, meanwhile, had been playing and downloading music because I keep booting him out the room when I’ve got an online mediumship class or a Zoom meeting on.

Then, at about half five Spanish time, I had this random thought: I wonder if Tomson can listen to music down here on Earth from the afterlife?

Back in 2016 when we were all out here together, he had Stressed Out by Twenty One Pilots on repeat the whole holiday. That track always reminds us of him.

No more than a minute or two after I’d had that thought — Stressed Out started playing.

Andy nearly fell off his chair. He had no idea he’d even downloaded it, and he was playing tracks one after another in order. Yet this one just popped up straight after the previous song.

Not only did Tomson answer my question, he let us both know he’s right here on holiday with us… and cheekily gatecrashing Andy’s playlist.
